ToolLance is a free collection of browser-based tools built for developers and everyday users. Whether you need to generate a strong password, format JSON, convert images to PDF, count words, or build a QR code — every tool works instantly with no signup, no account, and no cost.

Why we built ToolLance

Most online tool sites are bloated, slow, and covered in ads. They make you create accounts, upload your files to their servers, and wait for results. We built ToolLance because we were tired of that experience. Every tool on ToolLance runs entirely in your browser — results are instant, and your data never leaves your device.

Our philosophy

Tools should just work. No signups. No paywalls. No dark patterns. Your files never leave your browser. We believe useful software should be accessible to everyone — students, developers, designers, and anyone who needs to get something done quickly without friction.

Privacy by default

Every tool on ToolLance is built to be fully client-side. Your files, text, and data are processed entirely inside your browser using modern JavaScript APIs — nothing you enter into a tool is ever sent to our servers, because there are no server-side operations. This also means the tools work fast, even on a slow connection.

Like most websites, we do use analytics to understand which pages are useful, and we show ads to keep the tools free. Both are described in full on our privacy policy. Neither has any access to the data you put into the tools themselves.

What tools are available?

ToolLance currently offers 21 free tools, with new ones added regularly based on user requests:
